Trendline Month and year wise

I taken Date on shared axis and product(count) on column values in bar chart,
I am getting year wise and day wise data trendline but needed month wise data trendline.
when drill up from day to month its gettng only 12 months data out of 24 months data
and when i drill down year to month trend line disappear.

 

By my test, the trend line only appear when the category field on X-axis is numeric. So when you dirll to Month, the trendline will disappear.

 

For another option, maybe you could create a data hierarchy manully with the month is numeric.

 

Then create a new hierarchy with Year,Month and Day.
