Trend Analysis with Data Refresh

I receive data on a monthly basis which I then summarize for basic calculations such as average accuracy percentages. I would like to create a trend month of month to show the change in accuracy percentage from month to month. The problem I have is that each new file I receive overwrites the previous file.

  1. Is there a way to calculate the avg accuracy percentage, store that value in a new table and attribute the month to it? Then I would use that table to create a trend graph? ( I am using Power BI Pro License if that matters).

Please let me know if I am drastically overthinking this. Thank you for your help!

Hi @Anonymous ,

If you want to make trend analysis, it should have the data for previous dates. Then how will you get these data? Where the new file is from? Whether it is possible to download and save it when received? How the data looks like? What's the logic of avg accuracy percentage?

Best Regards

Rena
