Hi,
I am working on multilanguage reports, and came across Translations Builder which is a external tool. The documentation mentions it requires a Premium workspace and support for shared workspaces will be rolled out in 2023.
I was experiementing with it and my powerbi desktop kept going into infinite loops when I used it in the pro workspace. Does anyone know if the support has been introduced for Pro workspaces? the documentation is outdated and does not have any updates but people seem to be using it on this community.

Hi @shrunjala ,
Thank you for bringing this up, and a special shoutout to @SolomonovAnton , for highlighting it so clearly.
Microsoft hasn’t officially updated its documentation on translation support in Power BI Pro workspaces yet. However, based on recent community discussions and updates, here’s a key insight.
A blog post from December 18, 2024 confirms that semantic model translations are now supported with a Power BI Pro license, not just Premium capacity. This makes multilingual reports much more accessible.
FYI:

✔️ Yes, as of late 2024, Translations Builder supports Power BI Pro workspaces. Initially, metadata translations required a Premium capacity, but Microsoft has since extended this functionality to Pro users. This update allows you to implement multilingual reports without needing Premium licensing. (blog.theonedynamics.com)
