Translated slicer options without translation builder
Hello everyone,
I hope you're doing well! I'm looking for guidance on how to create dynamic translations in a slicer (for example list of products) based on the language selected in another slicer. I came across some posts mentioning the use of the translation builder, but I was wondering if there might be a simpler method to achieve this, perhaps using a calculated column or another technique.
If anyone has experience or insights on how to accomplish this, I would greatly appreciate your input!
Thank you in advance!
Hi Emma_ For this , create a Translations table with columns for product IDs, languages, and translated text. Add a Languages table for language selection and link it to the Translations table via the language code. Use a measure or calculated column to dynamically display translated text based on the selected language then set the slicer to use the translated text column for dynamic updates.

Hello, thanks a lot for your message. I am not really sure what field I should insert in the slicer which displays translated text. I cannot use here neither measure nor calculated column. Can you elaborate please? Many thanks !
