Hello all,
Our organization is transitioning away from Tableau to MSFT Power BI. I had a simple visual built out in Tableau, but I can't seem to replicate in MSFT Power BI. I had a simple visual showing the stock on hand of various inventory items we tracked at different locations. The columns in the visual reported back the sum of the current stock and historical stock on hand by date by each item, with a heirarchy of Major Inventory Item, Minor Inventory Item, Item Number, Item Description, Location of Warehouse and Stock Unit of Measure. Each item effectively received it's own report and you could see thousands of items by dragging the scroll bar down.
I can't seem to find a way in MSFT Power BI to accomplish this. Any ideas? I'm new to PowerBI, as I spent the last two years in Tableau using their "Pill" method in columns and rows to build visuals.
Hi @Anonymous ,
How about the result after you follow the suggestions mentioned in my original post?Could you please provide more details about it If it doesn't meet your requirement?
Best regards,
Hi @Anonymous ,
We can try to use Power KPI Matrix visual in Power BI Visual Marketplace to achieve a similar chart.
Please refer Power KPI Matrix sample report to get more information about this custom visual.
By the way, PBIX file as attached.
