Training in the UK?
Hi Gary,
Where are you based exactly in the UK ?
First you can join the London Power BI User Group:https://www.meetup.com/fr-FR/London-PUG/ or Manchester Power BI User Group: https://www.meetup.com/Power-BI-Manchester-Meetup/ .
For the first one, there are very interesting {free} meetups each month !
Second, you can go to the UK Power BI summit which will take place at Hemel Hempstead in a couple of weeks : https://ukpowerbisummit.com/register/ !
Otherwise if you want to learn hard stuff, I suggest you have a look at:
- cwebb who is a Microsoft Data platform MVP, blog & trainings: https://blog.crossjoin.co.uk/ - mostly on Power Query / M
- Sqlbi guys: http://www.sqlbi.com/, known as the 'Italians' ( marcorusso & AlbertoFerrari) who have awesome resources / trainings on DAX, Data Modelling, Performance optimization, Power BI and so many other things...
- PowerPivotPro: https://www.powerpivotpro.com/ (austinsense, avisingh ) & http://exceleratorbi.com.au/ (MattAllington) awesome stuff as well (blogs, books...)
- Gil Raviv: http://datachant.com/ - Power BI, Power Query & M. (DataChant)

I personnally try to learn as much as I can on the web. There are SO MANY good resources thanks to the {growing} Power BI community and our dear Microsoft MVPs :smileyhappy:
Regarding your Power BI 'pure' certification question, there is this EdX course: https://www.edx.org/course/analyzing-visualizing-data-power-bi-microsoft-dat207x-4 . I have never tried it - I prefer focusing on the websites above !
