Hi damit23183,
Thank you for confirming. Since you want to track engagement for the Friday emails sent from [email protected], you won’t be able to access that mailbox directly without authorization due to Microsoft 365 security.
The best approach is to ask your IT team to convert the account to a shared mailbox or provide delegate (read-only) access, which lets you connect via Power BI or Power Query using your credentials and pull those emails.
For more scalable access, your admin can register an Azure AD app with the Microsoft Graph API, allowing secure, programmatic access to mailbox data.
If that doesn't work then note that Exchange doesn’t track open-rate or engagement metrics, so for those analytics, you’ll need to send management emails through a platform like Dynamics 365 Marketing, Viva Amplify, or a third-party tool like Mailchimp. Delegate/shared mailbox access helps with retrieval, but for open-rate tracking, an email engagement tool is necessary.
Thank you.
Hi,
Thanks for your response, but if you have some online document to provide to follow what you suggest would be great.
Thanks
