Hi all, I'm having trouble with totals being duplicated, I have 3 tables joined, one has the Instances, one has the ID and one has the Name , how would I write a calculation to get the Total instances PER Name?
Here is what I get:
NAME | ID | INSTANCES
Greg | 12 | 30
Kelly | 14 | 30
Mike | 19 | 30
John | 23 | 30
Here is what I need to see:
NAME | ID | INSTANCES
Greg | 12 | 10
Kelly | 14 | 5
Mike | 19 | 3
John | 23 | 2
One of the tables is Many-Many but it needs to be as there are multiple ID rows for each Instance in both tables, do I need to calculate that first or as part of the DAX to solve the count per Name?
Let me know what other information you need.
Thanks in advance 🙂
Hi, @BabaOleg
Have you solved your problem yet? If it is not resolved, can you provide example graphs of the data from the 3 tables? You can show it as a screenshot or excel.

I wouldn't know how to re-create the table connections and PBIX file with sample data sorry
