Total of Measure not as expected

Hi, I am already aware that my problem refers to how I built the measure, but although I was studying the other threats I was not able to get the correct measure.

Measure for Conversion to cases:

Conversion to cases = DIVIDE(SUMX(Sales,Sales[Bottles]), AVERAGEX('Bottles per case','Bottles per case'[Bottles per case]))

Problem: In the table the total shows in the column "conversion to cases" not the expected 28 cases but another value. I do understand what Power BI is calculating here, but I dont know how to change it to see my expected result.

Can you pls help me to create the right measure?

Thank you very much for your support

Daniela

Get the total bottles for each separate value of bottles per case and then do the division.

Try something like this:

SUMX (
    SUMMARIZE (
        Sales,
        'Bottles per case'[Bottles per case],
        "@Bottles", SUM ( Sales[Bottles] )
    ),
    DIVIDE ( [@Bottles], 'Bottles per case'[Bottles per case] )
)
