Total not adding up in table visual

Hi Friends,

 

We are getting weird problem, "total" displayed in table is missing amount for one row, Please see screen shot, I narrowed it down to these two customers. It doesn't happened to any other record. we found this out by export data from the table visual, then sum is right.

 

Any hint is greatly appreciated?

    We figured out the problem is caused by data irregularity, data model can't handle the case.

    Hi River 

    Is this a measure that you are using? If is a measure is it a simple one or are you making any complex calculations with IF or FILTER functions?

     

    Try to use an aggregator SUMX  to retrieve correct result in the totals.

      No, number is straight from table, no measure or anything.

    Hi River 

    I build a table like yours to have a test.

    Table:

    And I build a table visual, my result of total is right.

    Here I have some advice for you.

    Please check the version of your Power BI Desktop, if it is not the latest one please upgrad it by this link: Upgrad

     

    If this reply still couldn’t help you to solve this problem, please tell me whether three columns come from the same table or not, and please download and use my pbix file to have a test ,or you may share your pbix file with me from your Onedrive for business.

      Thanks Rico, I have latest version.

       

      And those columns are from different tables, those 3 records are only ones not adding to total out of 100 of thousands records.

       

      How can I upload my pbix?

        You can upload the files by onedrive, google drive, wetransfer or similar links.
