Hello everybody.
Can you please tell me where I´m wrong?
I have this matrix with shows all job positions for the company.
Each row is a role.
The matrix numbers are fine, but then management asked for a tooltip showing the employees on that position.
I did it, but it is listing incorrectly people. In fact, it is showing ALL employees which had a register on that month on our HR payroll system. I already know what is wrong: it is showing the fired employees on the tooltip listing.
The reason must be because, on this example, the fired employeed had some registers on the table, up to the day they were fired.
The DAX filters this.
But why this filter do not apply to the tooltip, since the premise is that the tooltip is showing the DAX calculation?
I even but the same dax inside the filter on a card, and it is correct.
Here is a example.
The table inside the tooltip should show 28 employees, but it´s listing all 30 (2 were fired on a previous date, but in january)
Temporarily, I fixed this by applying a page filter on the tooltip page to dot show "fired" status, but I feel this is not a correct solution.
Any hints?
Thank you so much

Hi @LuizPoleza ,
The DAX filtering only applies where the measure is being used so if you are not using that measure on the table visual on the tooltip page it won't get pickup from the context of the main visual.
Just add that measure that you have on the card has a filter on the table visualization of the tooltip and set it to is not blank should give expected result.

Check out my blog: Power BI em PortuguêsThank you @MFelix , it really worked by adding the same measure on the tooltip table.
Is there a way to hide the column on the table, but retain the result?
Just to a better visualization. I tried playing with the format panel on the table, but not able to hide it.
The easiest way is to add the measure onyl to the filter pane of the visualization and select is not blank there is no need to have it has a field on the table itself.
If you have it on the visual just select the header of that column and reduce the size of the column just like in excel until is not visible just be sure to turn off word wrap for values and columns headers.
