Solved

Tooltip is not filtered when hover on measures

HI Team,
I have sample data with below format

Customer_ID Value Status
DBA00001 17640 Closed
MSU00001 5040 Closed
DAA00002 35406 Open
DAA00002 30450 Hold
DGO00002 6300 Open
MSU00001 26250 Closed

I need to show Count of Open Order, Count of Closed order and Total number of order in Clustered Bar Chat
So I have three measure

OrderStatusOpen = CALCULATE(COUNT(Order_Data[Status]),FILTER(Order_Data,Order_Data[Status]="Open"))
OrderStatusClosed = CALCULATE(COUNT(Order_Data[Status]),FILTER(Order_Data,Order_Data[Status]="Closed"))
TotalOrderNumber = COUNT(Order_Data[Status])
and create the below chart
Notes - I am not able to use Yaxis or Legend
Now I need to show Invoice Value in tooltip
When I am showing tooptip, the filter as per Bar is not working
PBIX file attached

Any thinking, please suggest

Notes - I also tried to implement the Custom Data level (as features)

    Hi PijushRoy ,

    Please refer to my pbix file to see if it helps you.

    Create a measure.

    Measure =
    SWITCH(
        SELECTEDVALUE('Order_Data'[Status]),
        "Open",[OrderStatusOpen],
        "Closed",[OrderStatusClosed],
        [TotalOrderNumber]
    )

    If it does not help, please provide more details with your desired output and pbix file without privacy information (or some sample data) .

      Thanks Anonymous
      Working fine.
      I am trying to use SelectedValue, SelectedMeasure in tooltip page to filter the data, wrong idea.
      You make it very efficient way. New learning for me.
      Thanks again

    In Chart, Left hand side we can show the name
    Order Open
    Order Closed
    Total Order

  • I know this post is an old "solved" post. But for future reference, though the original solution is brilliant, I think we are over complicating this particular situation. Just put "count of value" in X-axis and "status" as legend (as shown in pic below).
