Tooltip in Metrics table
Re: Average Running total each quarter interval
How do we get tooltip on metrics table example Quarter = 202401 Total revenue 3,331,178 running total 3,405,270.67
if we move curser 3,331,178 then it will show the difference of 74,092 and down -2% (74092 / 3,331,178)
we can see in chart to add tooltip as not in Metrics how to add this, this will help us conculsion on this. suggest

Thank you for the insightful response saritasw !I understand you are looking for a sample PBIX file that demonstrates this. While Power BI Metrics visual do not support tooltips directly, a Table or Matrix visual with a custom tooltip page can achieve .

Hi Anonymous ,
Power BI Metrics visuals don’t support dynamic tooltips on values. To show difference and % change on hover like you want, use a Table or Matrix visual with measures for Total Revenue, Running Total, Difference, and % Difference. Then create a tooltip page with those details and link it to the visual. This way, when you hover over the revenue, the tooltip shows the difference and percent change dynamically._______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
