Hi there,
i have problem with the tooltip in the decomposition tree visual.I recreated the problem with some simple sample data. I want to analyze sales by the dimensions Coutnry & Customer. Margin is a custom metric i created in Power BI
Margin = sum(Tabelle1[Profit])/Sum(Tabelle1[Sales])
In a table it all works like a charm an the correct margin is caculated. If i put it in a decomposition tree, the margin is very strange (see screenshot)
Has anyone ever encountered the same problem? Am i doing something wrong ? Can it be solved by DAX?
I would appriciate any hints!
Thanks,
Fabian
Solved! Go to Solution.
Please remove Sales field from Tooltips. Keep only Profit and Margin fields in Tooltips. As Sales is used in Analyze, it will display in the tooltip automatically. The Margin is calculated correctly without the additional Sales field.
