In my Power BI Desktop file, I use lighter colored text and tooltips for a dark-themed dashboard. However, when I publish the report to the web, the tooltips revert to the default dark text color. Do I need to manually change the tooltip colors for each visual in the web report? If so, how can I prevent these changes from being reverted every time I update and republish the dashboard?
Hi @TinyElephant I just tested with sample data, with dark color json config. file.
Once i publish the report into web, No changes same configuration is working fine with same colors in web tooltip values too.
Follow the steps as
1.Open your report in Power BI Desktop.
2.Select a visual where you want to customize the tooltip.
3.In the Visualizations pane, go to the Format tab
4.Scroll down to Tooltip settings and customize the background color and font color as needed.
5.Repeat this for all visuals where you need custom tooltips.

Hi @rajendraongole1, I don't know about Json config file. But what I mean by dark theme is that I made everything darker without using any templates. The text colors are lighter. In your example you have regular light color visuals.
Here is my tooltip text colors. But on web it defaults to black text colors.
