Hi Community , can someone help me with the location of tooltip if there is anyway that we can change its location frm only right or left to up and down?

for eg in this ss the tooltip is hsoing but hiding the other value of that row, so is there a way atleast we can do to dhow that below of that cell or above cell

  • Hey Khushboobarai ,
Natively, You can not change the location of tooltip in Power Bi desktop.  you can have a workaround on the same.
search Tooltip in format your visualization pane
change the transparency as per your requirement.
for example in my case I have changed it 40% and I can see other value too.

If this solves your problem. Kindly give kudos this solution and accept it as well so other can leaverage the same.

    Thanks

    Hi Khushboobarai
Thanks for reaching out to Fabric Community Forum.

Currently, Power BI does not provide an option to manually control tooltip placement/orientation as tooltip positioning is automatically managed during rendering based on available screen space and cursor location. As possible workarounds, you may consider using compact report page tooltips, resizing the visual, simplifying tooltip content, or adjusting tooltip opacity/transparency to reduce overlap with row values. Hope this helps.

    Thank you.
