Hi all ,
Quick Formatting issue.
How do i remove the Sum Part of the tool tip , not had the issue before but i have tried to rename and it has a sum nbefore it for some reason.
Any help Would be appericated.
Thanks , James.
Hi @JamesBurke
Please correct me if I have misunderstood.
not had the issue before but i have tried to rename and it has a sum nbefore it for some reason.
Does this mean you've renamed Tooltip to “Consumption”, but visually it shows up as “Sum Consumption”?
Please update your Power BI Desktop to the latest version(Latest version download link), then delete Tooltip and recreate it.
In my test, renaming Tooltip in that visual worked fine.

Hi @Anonymous ,
As you can see in the attached images , i've changed the measuers name but the sum aspect is still in front of the measuers name , in the second image i removed it and re added it naming it consumptio and the issue still remains.
I have updated it the lastest version but this made no difference, wondering if it's a preview feature that i've enabled but im not sure as i have them all enabled.
Thanks , James.
Usually these kind of issues get resolved when we remove and re-add the measure to the visual.
If possible, try re-creating this visual in a different page. Don't copy paste this visual, let it be from scratch.
Hi @JamesBurke
It's hard to find the cause of the problem based on the current information.
If you don't mind, could you please share your pbix file? Remember to protect your privacy in the shared file.

Have you tried removing and adding the consumption column again.
Else you can create a measure
Consumption= sum(consumption)
and add it in the tooltip
