I need to find some official documentation that states the limits on visuals. I see different people around the internet claiming different numbers, like "1,000", "3,500", "10,000" and the number varies by visual. I have to justify this to decision-makers and I need to know what the actual limitations are. I've looked all over and see things about "high density sampling" for lines and scatters, but I just can't find documentation that succinctly lays out the limitations.
Where can I find the documentation on the data point limitations?

Unfortunately, there is no such a certain document that lists data points limitation for each visual.
