Toggling between bookmarks resets my drop down selection

Hi, I've created a toggle between two charts using bookmarks. The charts are control by the selection made on a slicer. If I change the selection in the slicer and then toggle to the other bookmark the slicer reverts back to the original value. Is there a method to preserver the newly selected value from the slicer?
