To show dropdown value in full text

Currently the value in dropdown list for Teams slicer showing as per in red black box which not showing full length value. How to show the value in full or to extend it to show until red box area without streching the entire slicer? Is there any features Power BI to achieve this or its Power BI limitation?

@Magesen ,
Unfortunately, Power BI doesn't have a direct feature to resize or wrap text within a slicer dropdown without stretching the entire slicer.
However, you can try these workarounds:
  • Increase the slicer width slightly, so more text is visible.
  • Tooltips: Consider using tooltips to display full text when hovering over the truncated values.

Hi,

I see the issue you’re facing with the Teams slicer in Power BI. The values in the dropdown list are being cut off, and you want to display the full text without stretching the entire slicer.

Here are a few potential solutions:

  1. Adjust Text Size: You can try reducing the text size in the slicer settings. This might help fit the full text within the available space.
  2. Enable Search Bar: Adding a search bar to the slicer can help users find the specific team they are looking for without needing to see the full text in the dropdown.

Hope this helps.

Thanks!
