To display text (-) instead of blank in KPI

I have used KPI visual Card to show some value but if there is null value it should not show blank. Instead of blank, it should show "-". I am able to do this in card visuals but not KPI.

I tried by doing by If(IsBLANK(value),"-", value)

 but it gives below error.

If i use 0 instead then it shows 0 wherever null value is there.

Is there any way to use text instead of blank in KPI.

Not really, if you treat it as text you won't be able to get any subtotals or percentages. Depends on the view you want to present, it's possible to just display everything as text in which case you can replace null with '-' but with the limitations I described.
