Are you referring to merging each row of data from the two columns into a single category?
There are two ways to do this:
The first uses the Dax function:
Create calculated column.
category =
'Table'[Step_Name] &" "& 'Table'[Assumed_Retro_Indicate]
The second uses Power Query's Merge Columns.
Transform - select the columns you want - Merge Columns - select the splice between the two columns.
