Title and subtitle in left aligned KPI visual do not align with target label

Hi all,

In my organisation we recently decided to left align all KPIs on our dashboards. We noticed that the alignment of the title and subtitle is slightly more to the left than the alignment of the callout value and the target label. Especially the difference between the alignment of the (sub)titles and the target label bothers us.

Is there any way to solve this problem (other than "hacking" your own KPI-like visual using multiple Card visuals)? I can't seem to find any padding options to change the horizontal alignment of the title or the target label.

Cheers,

Elisabeth

Hi @Egi ,

As you can see from some of the attempts you've made yourself, KPI visual doesn't currently achieve the effect you want and need.

It was originally set up to produce the effect that it is presenting now.

Hey @Egi,

How about trying these settings for New Card visual?

Thanks for your reply @wini_R, I wasn't aware of the new card visual! I just tried it, and although it solves the padding problem, it has a few issues compared to the KPI visual:

  • There is no option to add an icon (checkmark/exclamation mark) to the callout value in relation to the target label/reference label. Also, the green/red colour would have to be added by conditional formatting.
  • As far as I can see, there is no option to change the target/reference label name, so it always displays the name of the measure inserted there
  • There is no ":" sign between the target label and value

Even though the latter two issues can be fixed by renaming the measure, and the icon could be added as a secondary visual, this is still not an ideal situation.
