Hi
I have a timeline slicer, it goes all the way back to 2011 but im only intersted in last year and current year. Is there someway of limiting it? it uses a date field from a calendar table, i can see dates that go all the way back to 2011 but how can i exclude them?
Thanks
Hi,
For example, you have a table (called “myTable”) like below:
You can create a new table with data of this year and last year only :
newTable = FILTER(mytable, YEAR(mytable[date]) = Year(Today()) || YEAR(mytable[date]) = Year(Today()) - 1)
Now you can create a new slicer with “newTable[date]” and there is only year 2015 and year 2016.
Best Regards
Alex
