Timeline 2.1.1 - Need default select option when page refresh

I am using Timeline 2.1.1 visual in my page. The year range from 2014-2019. When i open or refresh the page the timeline visual should select only current year by default.

Other years should be able to get selected manualy if required.

Hello,

I'm having a hard time trying to use the Timeline 2.1.1.

Every time I select a month or period and click outside the Timeline area and click in the Timeline area again it selext the full range of period available again. I've already tried to force last period available and the current period but it is not working. 

Do you know if there is a seting to correct it or it is a bug?

For the Current Period, there is an option. Enable that and make granularity as the year(screenshot 2). Also, enable scroll position.
