Time specific data visual

Hello all,            After multiple researches, I still am stuck on trying to get a visualization to work the way i want. I am trying to get my data to show monthly and be interactive to time. So ...

    I think I have the solution you're going for if I understood you correctly.

     

    1. In 'Axis' of your Chart, mine happens to be 'Clustered column chart'

    Nest 'Month' under 'Year'

     2. End up with something like this.

    3. Click

    5. Will get you something like this:

    OMG, it was as simple as clicking a button, I can't believe I missed it but this is exactly what I was going for. This is perfect. Thank you very much.

    I have another question regarding a different scenario so i'll post it separately, hopefully I can get help with that too.
