Time slicer for duration

Hello,

 

I need to make a chart about arrangement of projet, i use a castom visual named Gantt, the visual show exactly want i need, but i have a problem about the filter time. I know if i create a time slicer with the start date of projet, il will just show the projet who has crated at that date. I want to know if it's possible to create a slicer or something else who can filter time not in the data level, like if i choose july 2016, il will show not only the projet created in july, but also the projet still in working in july.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

    Hi YuanG,

    Based on my test, I am not able to find any methods that can be used to return the working projects when selecting a start date. The only way to contain the working project is to select a date range in the Timeline slicer.

    In addition, in  your scenario, it is better to use project status to filter the projects. And you can create another visual to display the details (such as start date, complete percentage)of filtered projects along with Gantt.
