Having trouble with Time Intelligence, likely it is me not comprehending how this works correctly. Below are my formulas.
RevYTD = TOTALYTD([Invoiced],'Calendar'[Date],FILTER('Calendar','Calendar'[Date]<=TODAY()))

Have a look at this SQLBI article. You'll probably find the answer there.
In any case, it would certainly help in you provide sample data and the code for the [Invoiced] measure. Otherwise it's a bit hard to know what might be at play. Or, ideally, share the pbix (beware of confidential data).
