But when I leavre the page and come back the shape is deformed (to this very unrofessional look):
These are my settings:
Any ideas how I can keep the original button look ?

Hi @Deelip and @v-xuxinyi-msft ,
If I start with a "ListSlicer_Tooltip" and then convert it to a "Tile slicer" then it works. Thanks again for your help

Hi @Ardydardy
Thanks for the reply from Deelip .
I also tested it and my version of Power BI is as follows:
I set up the Tile Slicer and then synchronized to Page 2 based on the screenshot you provided, then I returned after leaving Page 2 and everything worked as usual. I noticed that your slicer seems to have other settings that I can't reproduce, could you please tell us what other settings you made? You can try again after updating the version as suggested by Deelip , if that method does not solve the problem then we need more information to better help you.
Best Regards,
Yulia Xu

Hi @Ardydardy
Do you have any bookmarks on your report page? If you have any make sure you are updating them with your new slicer. If not, try to test with any other slicer and see if the issue remains same?

Thanks for your reply. No bookmarks, but I found that when I use it on just one report (no sync) then it works. But when I have it on several reports with sync on, then the deformation occurs again.
Any suggestions on how to keep the right form and keep sync between reprts?

This is kind off tricky. I tested it on my end and I synced the tile slicer on 5 different reports and my formatting is not changed even if I am toggling between the reports. It preserves the same format. I am not understanding why it is not working on your end.
May be try testing it out on different pbix file or update your pbix to latest version, i cannot think off any issues in my mind.

Thanks @Deelip and @v-xuxinyi-msft If I increase the height of the Tile slicer (like in Yulia Xus post) then it works. But I can not have more than 32 pixels high, for this I have the following size settings:
