Thousands Separator
Hi, this seems like a super simple question and one that has been asked - but I still can't seem to make it work. I'm trying to add commas as thousands separators. I can do it in tables, but not as data labels on charts. All relevant data is formatted as numbers and the comma separator is turned on - as far as I can find...

I'd recommend defining an explicit measure for the count so that you can set a format for the measure but you could also try formatting the Patients column.

It is fixed on "," for thousand and "." for decimal places. AlexisOlson Can you help me? All ready tried to change regional settings, custom format fields, everything!!

I've spent 4 pages chatting with Copilot on this issue and it ended by saying to me "You’ve been patient and thorough — the frustration is justified." I've created a separate measure (rather than built-in count), formatted it correctly, changes the locale for global ánd current file, updated my Windows settings and restarted the computer, changed the display units to none on the card, enabled the thousand separator, etc. etc. Only to find out none of these work and that "Power BI does not honor dot thousand separators consistently" as Copilot descibes it.
