I have published boards where the visual legends are changing colors from what I created in Desktop. THis is not a case where I have an abundance of legend values. This is occurring with 3 and 4 legend values and colors.
This seems to only occur in line charts with multiple legend values.
Hi @kmsmith1108 ,
One thing I need to check with you is whether the changes you made on the desktop (for the legend) were saved and then uploaded to the service. If you are not sure, you can follow this note and re-upload it again to see if the colors have changed.
Also, which version of powerbi desktop are you using, because in my test, I am using the latest version of desktop, using the same line chart, and there is no abnormality in uploading to service.
If the problem is still not resolved, please provide detailed error information and let me know immediately. Looking forward to your reply.
Best Regards,
Henry

This is not a solution and you are not using the latest version of Desktop. The legend interface you are using is outdated. This is the legend ionterface for the latest version of desktop.
I am using March 2022 version.
Yes, of course. I ensure all my changes are saved before I published to the service.
I did not make any changes to the Legend. The settings are default setting and the colors are default colors.
Here is an example of the same conditiopn , but in this case I have changed the colors in desktop and they still did not populate to the service.
This is only occuring using the Line Chart. I have numerous other visuals where my Legend colors are displaying as expected.
@v-henryk-mstf , I am using a Line Chart and these are the default colors for the visual. The color of the lines themselves is accurate, but the legend icons are not. In the visual settings, the "Match Line Color" is selected as "On".
Hi @kmsmith1108 ,
I can't reproduce this question at the moment. Please tell me exactly what type of visual you are using (system default or external developer provided, etc.), and please provide more information about the image of this visual, etc.
Looking forward to your reply.
Best Regards,
Henry
