There is not enough space on the disk
The Mashup Engine stores caching files in your user appData local directory - i.e., not necessarily the drive where you installed PowerBI Desktop.
You should make sure there is enough space on your user folder as well (and there isn't a quota on it).
You can also check your cache size by going to Options -> Global -> Data Load -> Data Cache Management Options

Hi, I am using a windows session on a VMware server. I have installed Power BI and have connected to MS SQL Server to pull data.
I am getting the same error that is faced in this post "There is not enough disk space".
There is around 40 GB of free space on the server. We have also increased the cache size by going to Options -> Global -> Data Load -> Data Cache Management Options but I am still getting the same error.
Is there any other check that I can do in order to resolve this error.
Thank you,
Lester

Hi ,
After clearing cashe you can also remove any files that are in file recovery ( I find this to help ). The location is here:
C:\Users\----your user name ----\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Power BI Desktop\TempSaves\
Kind regards,
Reuben
