The specified key is not a valid size for this algorithm
Hi all,
I wanted to ask about the error I have when I try to upload new data or edit existing dashboards. I use the January 2021 version and even I try to upload a simple excel file. I got this every time - "The specified key is not a valid size for this algorithm. Parameter name: key Key length :40" I already cleared cache folders in following locations/restarted the computer etc but It didn't work. Could you please advise what else can be done?

I just manged to fix it (I simply search for all cache and deleted it).
Regarding your question I just checked the power bi desktop version and I see January 2021

Of what? Power BI Report Builder? Power BI Desktop is still on December 2020.

That means you are using the wrong client. Use Power BI Desktop, not Power BI Desktop RS.
That is interesting bcause this is what we receive from our company. I also use Power BI reporting server to upload my project there. However, as I mentioned before I managed to fix this issue by cleaning cache files.
