I have an error in my Report "The report can't be viewed because the underlying dataset uses row-level security(RLS)". I have given workspace access as viewer to the particular user but he is not able to see the report. He is having above error.

Make sure that the user is in the security access table.

Hello, I am using the UserPrincipalName() but I receive this warning as a Viewer of the Workspace that I can't view the data due to the underlying RLS. Do I need to do anything?

@Balaraju , In the workspace, on the rows of the dataset, using the 3 dots go to security and assign a role to the user, after the viewer will be able to see some data

I was getting the same error but this worked for me.  I really appreciate your guidance.  Thank you!!!

I am facing a similar issue. The idea of using [EMail] = userprincipalname() is so you don't have to add individual users one by one to the report RLS. So there must be another issue as to why the

[EMail] = userprincipalname() is not working. I have my report in premium workspace - but still get the RLS error as well. Any help appreciated.
