The report can't be viewed because the underlying dataset uses row-level security (RLS)

Hi,

I added an RLS on my report for specific managers to view the report under their name (I used the UPN function to lookup from the dataset) but they encountered an error in the published version:

Is there a way to get past this? So that the other users can view the report filtered to their name?

@RLSid17 , You have to assign users to roles. Or make the user Admin of the workspace

Just an update, yes this works! I retract my previous query. My new query is, is there a way to automatically assign the user to roles? Like looking it up in another dataset where the email address is stored?

Yes, I just saw the Security in the dataset where I need to add members. But the problem is, these are at least more than 100 users needed to view the report. Is there a way to add them all in bulk? Rather than individually adding them?
