The remote name could not be resolved

Hy everyone,

 

I have using power BI desktop and connected to database using API.

But i have a problem during refreshment.

Some of the table can't be refresh and i got a message The remote name could not be resolved. 
This error just happend in one person, and other people was OK.

 

Please kindly advice for this problem..

Sound like networking issue, the API might be blocked by a local firewall proxy etc

But this is just one people , and the others still can access the API using same power BI file.

Hey there!

 

The error suggests that the hostname (omi_svr_apis) is not resolving to an IP address. Try flushing the DNS cache on the affected user’s computer:

  1. Open Command Prompt (Run as Administrator).
  2. Type:
    ipconfig /flushdns
  3. Restart Power BI and try again.
