The following system error occurred: Type mismatch.
Hi there 🙂
I have this issue: I can refresh the report on PowerBI Desktop, but when refreshing online (manually or automatically) it doesn't work.
Erro de processamento: The following system error occurred: Type mismatch. Unable to convert a value to the data type requested for table 'Metas 2022' column 'Mês do Ano'. The data provider was unable to convert the value '' from the source data type 'VT_BSTR' to the expected data type 'VT_DATE'. Please check the column data types in the data model and data source and ensure that the data types are compatible.
And I'm not finding the "wrong value" to replace. What's the value '' ?
There's no blank values on table 😕
There are the related tables on desktop:
And there's the source of "Metas 2022":
Can you help please?
Thank you.

Hi @amitchandak 🙂
The situation is: power query does not return any error. I'm able to update the report on PowerBi Desktop, but, in PowerBI online it returns that error.
I don't understand why (logically, if it's an error, it should return that in Desktop, right?)
Meanwhile, is about this what you're talking about?
On data source (googlesheets) the column type = automatic
(I've also tried as text too)

@CN1 , Please open the power query and check of data type and error.
One reason could be you corrected the data type of the column. But you added a new step for that. try to correct data type in first Change Type step
