The XML for Analysis request timed out before it was completed

Hi, I'm using POWER BI DESKTOP to populate a report from SSAS. The table is about 39K rows and 16 columns. When I tried to filter with one of the Measures, it fails all the way saying "The XML for Analysis request timed out before it was completed". Any idea to fix this?

    pygmysog,

     

     Generally, the issue occurs when refresh your Power BI report and the data model for that report is too large. Did you use import mode or directlyquery mode?

      Thanks for your help - I imported table and it actually occurs during data shaping, not refresh. I tried to narrow down my list by filtering one measure to be greater than or equal to a certain number.
