The Subtotals and Grand Total values are not correct in my matrix. Please advise.

The issue seems to be when I use Count ( Distinct).  The subtotals do not match the details

I just figured it out.  I was counting the wrong value.  Thanks for your patience.

HI Lydia -

I set up a matrix to count # of a particular event in a month.  I had used the date for the value.  When I chose to count only distinct values the subtotals did not match the detail.   Once I changed the value to count the distinct values of the event ID, the subtotals worked.

I am having the same issue again..apparently I did not figure it out...how can I share the details for someone to help?

I am measuring the number of activities for a sales person.  Each activity has its own unique id #.  When I use the Matrix, I discovered I should not use Count ( Distinct) as there may be more than one sales person associated with a single activity and each sales person needs to reflect the activity.  However, what I discovered is that when I do click on Count (Distinct), the details in the Matrix do not change as it must be counting distinct per sales person, but the total changes to count the distinct activity id's across the entire data set.  The Matrix is not really totaling the numbers in the detail.  Is this the intended function?
