Hi Guys,
I have a report with some slicers and visuals. When I open it in Desktop the slicer's buttons don't work but when I upload it in Power BI Services everything works fine. If I want to select busines unit or key account the below the slicer doesn't change at all in Power BI desktop but, it works in Power BI Services.
Can you guess of anything, I suppose to change?
Thank you in advance.
Mohammad

Hi @v-easonf-msft ,
Thanks for checking, I found it, the field parameters wasn't checked mark.
After I checked mark the field parameter in the File --> Options and Settings --> Options --> Preview features, it started working.
Thanks,
Mohammad
Hmmm ... you do know that in power Bi desktop that you have to press the CRTL and click the mouse on buttons to test them?? Where as in Power BI service you can just click the buttons.
Have you tried these ...
My collague has the same issue.
Do you think the person who create report can add some restriction something like this?
Hi, @Mohammadwazeri
What version of PowerBI are you currently using?
Have you tried ‘Edit interactions’ between the slicer and chart?

In Desktop, you have to use <CNTRL > click.
If you just click, this allows you to select the button to format it and adjust your actions.
Regards,
I took this snapshot from desktop version of this repor, I can select any option from the slicer but, the table below the slicer doesn't change at all.
