Text to number

Hi all, 

I would like to ask you for help with following situation:

I have the table where "Saving" column is text format. And I need to get sum of Number values from this column - in case of picture below it will be 100. . I tried to use VALUE command to convert text to number but it doesn´t work. 

Any idea how to do it?
