Text filter

Is there a way to search for names using Power BI's text filter or another way, so that if you search for, say, "Smith", only the names "Smith" will appear, and no names like ''Smithson'' or ''Smithers''?

    Hi Khadim_BA ,

I can provide you with a workaround that gets the subject name first and then filters it using a slicer. I have created simple samples and you can check the results as below:

In Power Query, you can use column From Example to get the primary name:

Drag the fetched fields into the slicer after application:

I'm assuming you have tried this but you can click on the elipses and select "Search".

You can utilize the slicer with search functionality for easier navigation and filtering. Selecting "Test" will give you only Test surname results.
