Hi guys, I am debugging a report that wasnt showing comments from the source.
I narrowed it down to an anomaly in the power query.
I narrowed it down to a step in the transfomation.
the step that changers the text to a null doesnt even work on that column.
please see the screen capture.
#"Filtered Rows5" = Table.SelectRows(dbo_vw_FODSPRD_SourceFilesSLA, each ([Feed System] = "MXLN") and ([Batch Date] = #datetime(2023, 5, 16, 0, 0, 0))),
#"Renamed Columns" = Table.RenameColumns(#"Filtered Rows5",{{"Process Started", "Miles Process Started"}}),
any idea why?
Hi @IanCockcroft ,
Not sure why, but you can try the following to dig.
1.Delete the "Renamed Columns" step, then go to the "Filtered Rows5" step, rename column by right-clicking the "Process Started" column header again.
2.Rename other columns to see if the issue can occur also.
If all can't help, we maybe need the pbix without sensitive data to dig.

@IanCockcroft If that code is taken directly from Advanced Editor that's really odd.
Hi Gregg, yes, its the 2 lines from the advanced editor.
