Text Wrap in Org Chart
Hey Guys,
So, I have a Org Chart in PowerBI but it only accepts one filed of data. If I insert only one field, the text is written in only 1 line, and then the text can not be read completely:
I would like to breake the text inside the cell, so the chart still gets 1 field of data, but the data would appear like, in the example above:
"CC 68 - Pinda
Carpinteiro"
And the would be possible to read normally. Is that a way to do it in the Table View? I trind the Unichar (10) buit didn't work. I tried to text wrap in the original database (excel) and in transform data in pbi and both work as in first step, but then, in Table View, the text appears without the line break.
Do you guys have any idea?

LucasBW You can enable text wrapping in cells of a Table:
- Select your Table visual.
- In the Visualizations pane, go to the Format tab (paint roller icon).
- Expand Values (or Specific column if you want to target individual columns).
- Toggle Text wrap to On.
You can also do this per column:
- Under Specific column, select the column from the dropdown.
- Turn on Text wrap for that column.
Additional Tips
- Row height: After enabling wrap, you may need to manually drag the row height (or resize columns) so the wrapped text displays properly. Power BI doesn't always auto-adjust row height perfectly.
- Column headers: You can also enable Text wrap separately under Column headers for long header titles.
- Matrix visuals: The same Values > Text wrap option works (and is often more flexible in newer matrix visuals)

Hi pcoley ,
This didn't work.
When I say "table view" it is not a Table Chart, it is the section between Report View and Model View.
The chart I'm usin is an Organizational Chart and it's features do not include Text Wrap.
My idea was try to do the Text Wrap directly on the Table View so it would show the same way when I added the column into the Org Chart.- pcoleySuper User
Unfortunately you cannot enable text wrapping in the cells of the Data view grid in Power BI Desktop.
The Data view (the middle icon, between Model and Report views) shows a basic read-only grid of your table data. It doesn't have formatting options like Word wrap / Text wrap for columns or cells.

Hi LucasBW,
Thanks for reaching out to the Microsoft Fabric Community forum.
Currently, there isn't a built-in setting in Power BI to control text wrapping or force multi-line text rendering within the Organization Chart visual. If support for wrapped text in Organization Chart nodes is important for your scenario, please consider submitting an idea in the Fabric Ideas forum:
