Text Slicer SELECTEDVALUE Not Working

Hi Experts!   Does anyone know the DAX equivalent of SELECTEDVALUE for the new Text Slicer because SELECTEDVALUE does not seem to work.   TIA!

    The new Text Slicer is currently in preview, and some DAX functions like Selectedvalue() may not behave as expected, especially when users type in custom values or when formatting (like currency symbols) is involved.
    Please go through the documentation:
    Create a text slicer (preview) - Power BI | Microsoft Learn

    As a workaround, you can try using the standard slicer visual instead, especially if you need more consistent interaction with Selectedvalue() or want to avoid issues with manual input.
