Why do the scroll bars in a text box obscure the text? This is so stupid.
Am I missing the 'genius' behind this feature? or is this just another oversight?
Ill even accept a hack as a solution, but it I'd appreciate it if someone could tell me how to prevent it
Thanks Pragati11 , It looks like this report is using a 3rd party text box (Text Wrapper by Maq Software).
We had to use this, because there are no dynamic text boxes in the standard visualisations.
Do you know how we might put dynamic paragraph text (data) into a textbox?
HI @Anonymous ,
I am not able to reproduce this at my end while using a normal text box: (the alignment of the test is left-aligned)
Are you using any custom visual? Also are you working with latest version of Power BI?
Thanks,
Pragati
Hi @Anonymous ,
I have previouslly used normal card visual to display text in Power BI, just that you will have to adjust size of your text value under formatting options.
Apart from this in a normal text box there is a workaround of adding dynamic text as well:
Basically under format options, you can display a dynamic TITLE, where you can give the field/column you want the values to be displayed. You can try using this as well and check if it works for you.
Thanks,
Pragati
