Target line as secondary axis - auto fill till last change

Hello dear PowerBI Community,

I would like to build up the following setup:

I want to show a column bar chart (machine efficiency % ACTUAL vs. %-target as secondary axis).

I have one table with the actual machine efficiency %-value per each day.

And another table where everytime the most recent %-target is being filled in.

But the target will be only written to that line of the day where a new target has been set.

How can I get now a secondary axis, which automatically fills all the nulls for the target value, until another target has been set?

Somewhere I also need to build a relation between the dates of both tables?

Example:

from 01.01.23 on, target = 50%.

At 05.07.2023 a new target has been written into table = 60%.

So all days until 04.07.2023 needs to have autofill 50% or to automatically continue with 50%

Thank you!
