Good Morning
I am looking for help in setting target number based on period filter with value of last year, below is my scenerio
I select date from 1st sep to 30th sep
i got 2 values day by day - current year sales and last year sales
lets say last year total sep is 10,000 &
current year so for MTD(19 days) is 6,000
now my target is 4,000 for next 11 days
i want daynamic formula how this could be fixed in per day.
also i would like to clear based on my period selected the value should be changing.
thanks in advance.

Hi,
I think a bracket is missing. Try this
=-[Sales Diff]/((EOMONTH(TODAY(),0)-TODAY())+1)
Hi,
That is a 174MB file. Please get it down to a couple of MB's and then share the download link.
Hi
Is it ok if i share with you clould page ?
No that will not help. I need the PBI file.
so how can i minimise the size coz there lots of other tables .....
Please see if you can get rid of unequired Tables and also reduce the number of rows.
hi

Hi,
When i click on Wedneday, the result of target per day and Sales Diff is the same. This is what you wanted.
Yes excatly but since now all wednesday are covered could you check for sunday if you can see the target would be same as sale difference ?
Hi,
My formula is correct. The problem seems to be with the relationships. It will take way too long to study all relationships. I wont be able to devote so much time.
Hi Ashish
Thank you, i really appreciate the effort you put for me to understand it, just i would like to know a general or logic how it would work if possible to share
Hi,
I really cannot say. It's too large a model.
