Hi DAX Gurus,
I have a calander tabel and I need a column that it says current financial year "Yes" or "No"
Australian finance year is from 1st July to 30th June.
For instance all the dates from 1/07/2019 to 30/06/2020 I need my column to be saying "Yes", as it is current finaincal year and the rest should say as "No".
When new financial year starts I need this tag to be dynamically changed. Hope this expains what I want to achieve.
any help is really appriciated.
Thanks

@amaleranda add a column with the following expression, you can tweak it as per your need:
FIscal year Flag =
VAR __d =TODAY()
VAR __y = YEAR ( __d )
VAR __startDate = IF ( __d < DATE ( __y, 7, 1 ), DATE ( __y - 1, 7, 1 ), DATE ( __y, 7, 1 ) )
VAR __endDate = IF ( __d > DATE ( __y, 6, 30 ), DATE ( __y + 1, 6, 30 ), DATE ( __Y, 6, 30 ) )
RETURN
IF ( CC[Date] >= __startDate && CC[Date] <= __endDate, "Yes", "No" )
I would ❤ Kudos if my solution helped. 👉 If you can spend time posting the question, you can also make efforts to give Kudos whoever helped to solve your problem. It is a token of appreciation!
