Tachometer visual

Hi! I am trying to use the Tachometer visual. I need it to show the value, even though it is quite small in my report. Sometimes it does, others it dont, and I cant figure how to control it. Anybody who can help me? I guess it could be a question about a setting, that would allow for some small margins ...

If you highlight the tachomater visual, then click on the paint roller icon over in the visualizations panel, there is text size value for Callout Value.  You can also adjust the axis labels there too.

If this works for you, please mark it as solution.  Kudos are appreciated too.  Please let me know if not.

Regards,

Pat

That, I have already tried. To adjust text size. As I wrote in another answer here, what puzzles me is that some of the visuals of same size did show the callout value, others not, and by going all the format settings, I have not been able to identify what made the difference.

Hi @Anonymous ,

By my test in the latest version 2.81.5831.821 of Power BI Desktop, the Callout value option under Format pane works well.  You may upgrade the Power BI Desktop, and then try it again. You may learn more : Power BI Custom Visuals - Tachometer.

Since this is a custom visual, you could contact author by the email address PBISupport@annik.com

Best Regards,

Yes, the visual works well in general. Only it does not show the callout value if it is set too small - even when there is room for it.

I have set the general dimensions as 55 length and 40 with. I would like it to show the values. I wonder if that is possible.

I got arund it by using another visual, in danish "kort". Maybe "map". And then I put the tachometer to transperent, so "kort" value was visible. But I would like to only use the tachometer.

Spoiler
Hi
I am new to this forum. I would have loved to provide you with a pic, but I will try to explain.
Underneath the graphic, there is the callout value. If you diminish the dimensions of the graph, at a point, the value stops showing. I need to use the visualisation together with other graphs, so sometimes I need them to be rather small.
I tried to make it show also when the visual is small. What puzzled me was that sometimes it did show, sometimes not, and I could not figure what made the difference, even though I systmatically checked all format settings to find where the visualistions differed.
I think I can put in some additional visualisation, but I would prefer to make the tachometer show the value.
I hope that made it clearer.
